Based on DeAnna Horstmeier's successful teaching program, this convenient package, affordably priced, contains many of the components parents and teachers need to teach essential math skills used in daily living to learners with Down syndrome, autism, or other cognitive disabilities.

Use the lessons in Book 2, the manipulatives in the kit, and the worksheets, games, and learning aids on the CD-ROM to teach advanced math skills including: multiplication and division; fractions; measuring for length, distance, temperature, weather, food, etc.; money concepts for banking, tracking spending, and budgeting; decimals for writing and reading dollar amounts to the 10th and 100ths, and memorizing percentage and fraction equivalents.
Teaching Math Package 2 offers good value and savings compared to purchasing all the Teaching Math components separately.
Note: If your student needs to work on basic math skills (number sense, counting, addition and subtraction, place value, measurement, comparisons, etc.), then you'll want Teaching Math Package 1.
