Embracing Play Video is divided into four parts:
Why is Play Important?
You will understand the role of play in your child's development and some of the challenges faced by children with autism.
Finding Your Child's "Entry Point"
You will learn how to decide where to begin with your child, what objects to use, and how to use them so that your child is successful.
The Foundations to Learning
You will learn how to teach your child to attend, imitate with play objects, and to find pleasure in doing so.
Expanding Your Child's Play
Having established the foundations to learning, you will learn how to broaden your child's interests and to expand his play into a variety of functional and symbolic play activities.
